Südgeorgien Antarktische Wildnis
Author(s): Thies Matzen
1500 km east of Cape Horn, in the cold south of our planet, lies the island of South Georgia: storm battered, 160km long, and – except for a handful of scientists – uninhabited by people. Thies Matzen and Kicki Ericson stayed there for over two years, on their small wooden sailboat Wanderer III, in solitude, surrounded by overwhelming nature, hundreds of thousands of penguins, elephant seals, and albatrosses. The outcome is a unique photographic documentation of this raw wilderness. All text also in English and Chinese.
