CHARITY DAY

CHARITY DAY FEBRUARY 2025

This Thursday February will be our Monthly Charity Day where we donate 15% of the value of each book sold in the shop and online to a charity or organisation that we love to support. This Charity Day, we will be donating to Purple House.

Purple House providing dialysis in the most remote parts of Australia, is an innovative Indigenous-owned and run health service operating from its base in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Now operating 18 remote clinics and a mobile dialysis unit called the Purple Truck, Purple House is  getting patients back home so that families and culture can remain strong.

Last Charity Day in November with your support we were able to donate to the The Hut Community Centre. The HCC offers a range of support services, including financial assistance, that can assist in times of need. Their services are diverse and focus on engaging with residents in our Hills community and making meaningful connections. Programs include training and education, sharing skills and interests, and healthy living activities. Their reach covers the Hills region through their networks and partnerships which support the philosophy of working with others to support the Hills community.

Your support last month, enabled us to donate over 200 books to children in remote communities. Incredible!
